SP Group Capital Partners LLC (SPGC) is a New York based alternative strategy Multi Family Office focusing on private, income producing companies. SPGC provides strategic planning, managerial insight and capital needed to enable strong business to work towards the next level of growth and profitability.
SPGC emerged from the investment group initially created by Vincent Palmieri & Jason Sonner in 2014. The principals of SPGC bring over 25 years of experience, and are focused on developing institutional quality , income generating solutions for their investors. Their competitive advantage stems from a creative approach to deal structuring combined with significant access to proprietary deal flow with a focus on Entertainment, Natural Resources, Disaster Relief and Alternative Debt Strategies.
Vincent Palmieri - Managing Partner
Mr. Palmieri has been a financial advisor, investment banker and portfolio manager specializing in small private and public companies for over two decades. Since 2006, he has been responsible for sourcing, executing and managing investments for Taglich Private Equity LLC, a firm that specializes in growing small private companies by providing capital and expertise. He is currently a director of several Boards including Icagen, Inc. and Autonet Mobile, Inc. Mr. Palmieri earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University and is active in many community activities, including as a board member of his local little league.
Jason Sonner - Managing Partner
Jason Sonner joined SPGC in 2014 as a Managing Partner. He is currently responsible for deal execution, portfolio company management, and conducting outreach for early-stage companies that generate strong economic value and positive social impact. Prior to joining SPGC, Jason was an Entrepreneur and Business Owner at The Goods Group, where he delivered innovative and strategic solutions for large-scale Brands such as IBM, Google, Cognizant & Samsung. Before The Goods Group, Jason was a Production and Digital Consultant for companies like Moving Picture Company, American Express, ABC, NBC, CBS Sports and Viacom. Jason holds a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Communications from The Ohio State University and is working on his Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the Fisher School of Business, The Ohio State University.
